Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to ensure proper management of all Bank’s purchased and stored items, including non-ICT working tools. The respective job holder is also responsible for records management.


Principle Responsibilities

  • - Plan and manage all inventory and records activities for the Bank.
  • - Ensure all inventory and records centers are fully monitored and controlled per Governance requirements.
  • - Ensure developed and updated procedures/manuals for inventory and records are implemented.
  • - Analyze and manage inventory and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
  • - Ensure implementation and monitoring of the digital archive management system.
  • - Ensure implementation and monitoring of digital inventory management system.
  • - Responsible for analysing and planning current and future organization data in inventory and records.
  • - Manage budget and ensure that all expenditures are within approved limit.
  • - Ensure evaluation of suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships.
  • - Support process improvement/re-engineering i.e. automation, integration, decentralization/centralization.
  • - Ensure submission of reports to upper management on inventories and records management.
  • - Any other duties as assigned by the line manager.



Qualifications Required

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Inventory, Archives, Documents, and Records from any recognized University/Institution.
  • - Professional qualifications (e.g., Procurement, Records Management) will be an added advantage.
  • - At least 3 years of work experience.
  • - Experience in Banking/Financial Institutions will be an added advantage.
  • - Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • - High attention to detail.
  • - Flexibility to get involved in all aspects of information provision.
  • - High level of integrity.
  • - Pro activeness and innovation in problem‑solving.
